Sonic Offering

During my time at SVARAM - a company in Auroville that builds innovative music instruments for meditative purposes - I was offered to support three other friends and artists to create a sonic atmosphere for a torch bearing ceremony.

Among other things SVARAM is a meeting ground, a creative space for artists from all over the world.

In August 2022 as a symbol of offering light to the divine in the form of torches, SVARAM hosted a meditational ceremony in the Matrimandir Gardens in the City of Dawn, Auroville, India.

Acoustically the ceremony was co-created by four young international artists who created a complex ambient soundscape using rare and healing instruments, electronic soundscapes as well as percussion and natural objects:
